St George’s ‘Junior Church’ meets every Sunday at 10.30am for fun, friendship, Bible stories, songs, Bible craft activities. Children receive a warm welcome and can explore Christianity, follow scripture and experience a range of sessions that will support their spiritual growth in a caring environment.
Church leaders are all CRB checked and offer a wealth of knowledge and life experience – many of us either have had, or currently have young families and understand the importance of being part of God’s family and the need for parents to worship, whilst their children receive age appropriate ministry.
At designated times during the year St George’s has All Age Worship services, where children join the congregation and their families and worship together; we offer the congregation interactive activities, which the children embrace fully!
In addition to meeting during Sunday Worship, the group meet for outings; giving families vital time to chat and relax and the children to see their friends outside church. Our picnic day visit to Martineau Gardens, Edgbaston was a memorable day and photographs can be seen by clicking on our ‘gallery’.
“I like Junior Church because I like showing people what I have learned about Jesus, I can tell them on the microphone, and I really like seeing my church friends and having chocolate biscuits!” Charlotte, 5
